Girl Trouble to release first album in 23 years

Garage rock band Girl Trouble will release their first album in 23 years, As Is, on June 26. The album marks a return to their original label, K Records, in a joint effort with their own imprint, Wig Out!. A video of the band performing new track 'Make It Mine' accompanies the announcement.

Girl Trouble, founded in 1984 in Tacoma, Washington, began their career with debut singles 'Riverbed' and 'Old Time Religion' on K Records. Their 1988 album Hit It or Quit It served as the first full-length release on Sub Pop. The new album As Is follows their 2003 release The Illusion of Excitement and features 13 tracks, including 'Make It Mine,' 'Can You Dig It,' and 'Freedom Rock.' The tracklist also includes 'Back on Track,' 'Time Comes to Your Rescue,' 'You Don’t Mean It,' 'Everybody’s Free,' 'Don’t Forget It,' 'Argue,' 'Only Kind You Keep,' 'Naming Names,' 'Until We Meet Again,' and 'The Ballad of Blowfly.'
