Jorja Smith sets August release for third album

British singer Jorja Smith will release her third album, What Are The Odds, on August 21 via FAMM. The 12-track project was previewed with the new single Alive featuring Wizkid.

Smith worked with frequent collaborator P2J on the album, her first since Falling or Flying in 2023. The pair started planning a dance record soon after finishing their 2023 track Little Things. Devlin appears on the song This City, a reworking of his 2010 single London City.

A music video for Alive shows the artists dancing and flirting during a summer night in Paris. This year Smith contributed a song to the soundtrack of Riz Ahmed’s series Bait and performed on the first season of Saturday Night Live UK.

She will mark the album’s release day by co-headlining the London festival All Points East alongside Tems.
