اكتشف باحثون من كلية ترينيتي في دبلن المخطوطة التي تعود إلى أوائل القرن التاسع في المكتبة الوطنية المركزية في روما. وتُعد هذه النسخة، التي يرجع تاريخها إلى الفترة ما بين 800 و830 ميلادية، ثالث أقدم نسخة باقية من القصيدة المكونة من تسعة أسطر والتي تشيد بخلق الله للعالم. وعلى عكس النسخ السابقة التي يظهر فيها نص اللغة الإنجليزية القديمة في الهوامش فقط، تدمج هذه النسخة القصيدة مباشرة في النص اللاتيني الرئيسي لكتاب "التاريخ الكنسي للشعب الإنجليزي" للكاتب بيدي.
