أُطلق تطبيق بقيمة ثلاثة دولارات مخصص لأجهزة كمبيوتر ماك على متجر تطبيقات أبل في نهاية هذا الأسبوع لمعالجة مشكلة منزلية شائعة. يتيح تطبيق "كاتس لوك" (Cats Lock) للمستخدمين تعطيل إدخال لوحة المفاتيح بسرعة لتجنب الكتابة غير المقصودة التي تسببها الحيوانات الأليفة.

يتم تفعيل الأداة من خلال نقرة واحدة على شريط القوائم أو عن طريق اختصار لوحة مفاتيح قابل للتخصيص. وتعمل الأداة على حظر جميع المدخلات أثناء وجود القطط بالقرب من الجهاز، كما توفر أصواتاً اختيارية رادعة يمكنها تنبيه المالكين أو يمكن للمستخدمين تسجيلها بأنفسهم.
