صرحت المفوضة إنداه هارتانتينينغرم، من الإدارة الفرعية الأولى في مديرية التحقيقات الجنائية للمخدرات بشرطة العاصمة، بأن القبض على رجل يبلغ من العمر 32 عاماً ويُرمز له بالحرف (أ) قد تم في الساعات الأولى من صباح الخميس 7 مايو 2026 في تمام الساعة 00:20 بتوقيت غرب إندونيسيا في شارع بوليفارد رايا كابوك بمنطقة تشينغكارينغ.

عثر الضباط على 120 خرطوشة سجائر إلكترونية تحتوي على مادة الإيتوميدات داخل حقيبة حمراء مغلفة بكرتون. كما صادرت الشرطة هاتفاً محمولاً يعمل بنظام أندرويد يخص المشتبه به.

تم التحفظ على الأدلة والمشتبه به حالياً في مكتب إدارة التحقيقات الجنائية للمخدرات التابع لشرطة العاصمة لإجراء المزيد من التحقيقات. وقد حث رئيس العلاقات العامة في شرطة العاصمة، المفوض بودي هيرمانتو، الجمهور على الإبلاغ عن أي اشتباه في تعاطي المخدرات عبر مركز اتصال الشرطة الوطنية 110.
