Polda Metro Jaya foiled the distribution of etomidate narcotics by seizing 120 vape cartridges in Cengkareng, West Jakarta.
Sub-Director 1 of the Metro Jaya Police Narcotics Detective Directorate Kompol Indah Hartantiningrum said the arrest of a 32-year-old man with the initial A took place in the early hours of Thursday May 7 2026 at 00.20 WIB on Jalan Boulevard Raya Kapuk Cengkareng.
Officers found 120 vape cartridges containing etomidate inside a red bag wrapped in cardboard. Police also seized one Android mobile phone belonging to the suspect.
The evidence and suspect are now secured at the Metro Jaya Police Narcotics Detective office for further examination. Metro Jaya Police Public Relations Chief Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto urged the public to report suspected narcotics abuse via the National Police Call Center 110.
