La police de Polda Metro Jaya a déjoué la distribution de stupéfiants à base d'étomidate en saisissant 120 cartouches de vapotage à Cengkareng, dans l'ouest de Jakarta.

La commissaire Indah Hartantiningrum, sous-directrice de la brigade des stupéfiants de la police de Metro Jaya, a déclaré que l'arrestation d'un homme de 32 ans, identifié par les initiales A, a eu lieu aux premières heures du jeudi 7 mai 2026, à 00h20 WIB, sur Jalan Boulevard Raya à Kapuk Cengkareng.

Les agents ont découvert 120 cartouches de vapotage contenant de l'étomidate à l'intérieur d'un sac rouge enveloppé dans du carton. La police a également saisi un téléphone mobile Android appartenant au suspect.

Les preuves et le suspect sont actuellement placés en détention au bureau de la brigade des stupéfiants de la police de Metro Jaya pour un examen approfondi. Le chef des relations publiques de la police de Metro Jaya, le commissaire Budi Hermanto, a exhorté le public à signaler tout soupçon d'abus de stupéfiants via le centre d'appel de la police nationale au 110.
