انهار جزء من مجمع سكني (تشاول) في منطقة مانخورد بمدينة مومباي مساء الأحد وسط هطول أمطار غزيرة، مما أسفر عن مقتل ستة أشخاص.

في مساء الأحد في حوالي الساعة الثامنة، انهار جزء من مجمع سكني مكون من طابق أرضي وثلاثة طوابق في منطقة جاناتا ناجار في مانخورد. ووفقاً لبلدية مومباي الكبرى (BMC)، وقع الحادث خلف معبد هانومان عند المبنى رقم خمسة. وصلت فرق من إدارة الإطفاء والشرطة وموظفي البلدية إلى الموقع لإنقاذ العالقين. وقد نُقل المصابون إلى مستشفى راجاوادي ومستشفى شاتابدي. وأفاد مستشفى شاتابدي بأنه تم الإعلان عن وفاة امرأة تبلغ من العمر 32 عاماً وأربعة أطفال تتراوح أعمارهم بين عامين و14 عاماً. كما توفي طفل يبلغ من العمر سبع سنوات أثناء تلقي العلاج في مستشفى راجاوادي، بينما لا يزال شاب يبلغ من العمر 24 عاماً في حالة مستقرة.
