South Korea has signed a deal to export three more Chunmoo rocket launchers to Estonia. The agreement follows a long-term framework between the two countries.
The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency announced on May 11 that it had signed a government-to-government contract with the Estonian Centre for Defence Investments. Under the deal, Hanwha Aerospace will deliver three Chunmoo launchers and related equipment by the end of 2027.
The agreement follows a framework pact signed in December. At that time, KOTRA committed to exporting six Chunmoo units and three types of missiles for 300 million euros.
KOTRA President Kang Kyung-sung said the swift follow-up contract reflects the strong performance of Korean weapons systems and Estonia’s trust in the Korean defense industry.
