한국이 에스토니아에 천무 다연장로켓발사기 3대를 추가 수출하는 계약을 체결했다. 이번 계약은 양국 간 장기 공급 체계에 따른 후속 조치다.
한국무역투자진흥공사(KOTRA)는 11일 에스토니아 국방투자센터(ECDI)와 정부 간 계약을 맺었다고 밝혔다. 한화에어로스페이스가 천무 발사기 3대와 관련 장비를 2027년 말까지 공급할 예정이다.
이 계약은 지난해 12월 체결된 기본 협정의 후속이다. 당시 KOTRA는 천무 6대와 미사일 3종을 3억 유로 규모로 수출하기로 합의했다.
KOTRA 강경성 사장은 “이번 계약은 한국 방산의 우수한 성능과 에스토니아 정부의 신뢰를 보여준다”며 “한국의 글로벌 방산 강국 도약을 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
