الحكم بالسجن على شخصين أدينوا بتهريب البشر بشكل غير قانوني

أصدرت محكمة فيدرالية في ديرة داوا حكماً بالسجن على رجلين بتهمة تهريب أشخاص خارج إثيوبيا عبر جيبوتي. وحُكم على نعيم أول بالسجن لمدة 20 عاماً مع غرامة قدرها 200 ألف بر، بينما حُكم على سيد (صادق) حسن بالسجن لمدة 18 عاماً مع غرامة قدرها 100 ألف بر.

قام المدانون بنقل الضحايا من منطقة أوروميا إلى حدود جيبوتي بالمركبات وسيراً على الأقدام. كما قاموا بتهديد العائلات عبر الهاتف وضرب الضحايا أثناء مطالبتهم بدفع فدية. وفي إحدى الحالات، توفي ضحية يُدعى رمضان أنور محمد بعد تعرضه للضرب على رأسه بعصا.

استمعت المحكمة إلى شهادات الشهود واطلعت على الوثائق قبل أن تقضي بإدانة الرجلين بموجب المرسوم رقم 1178/2012. وكانت شرطة مدينة ديرة داوا قد وضعت المشتبه بهما تحت المراقبة قبل إحالتهما إلى المحكمة الفيدرالية الابتدائية.
