Building on the recent announcement that the Philippines will host WAN-IFRA Digital Media Asia 2026 for the first time, the World Association of News Publishers has revealed its headline speakers.

The lineup features:
- Zuraidah Ibrahim, executive editor of the South China Morning Post (Hong Kong)
- Troels Behrendt Jørgensen, digital director of Politiken (Denmark)
- Sam Guzik, head of product at WNYC and senior expert adviser at the Future Today Institute (United States)

These industry leaders, with careers advancing digital transformation in top media organizations, will lead sessions on AI's impact on newsrooms and engagement, platform shifts and the creator economy, plus case studies on sustainable revenue models.

The event, backed by the Department of Tourism and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, continues to position Manila as a hub for Asia-Pacific journalism innovation.
