Beboere i Björklinge klager over larmende råger, mens kommunen igangsætter handlingsplan

Beboere i Björklinge har i flere måneder hvert år været generet af råger, der bygger rede i træerne. Uppsala Kommune reagerer nu på klagerne og påbegynder arbejdet med en handlingsplan i næste uge.

Rågekolonien består af omkring hundrede par, der vender tilbage til deres reder hvert år. I ynglesæsonen om foråret bliver støjen så forstyrrende, at beboerne er gået sammen om at indberette problemerne til kommunen.

– Vi flyttede fra Uppsala for at kunne sidde på terrassen i fred og ro. Det skete ikke, siger Agneta Ohlson Melin.

Babs Stuiver, enhedschef for skov og natur i Uppsala Kommune, siger, at kommunen har stor forståelse for generne. I næste uge begynder de arbejdet med en handlingsplan forud for ynglesæsonen i 2027.

Råger er beskyttede i Sverige, så kommunen vil undersøge tiltag fra andre steder i Europa, såsom at fjerne reder for at få fuglene til at flytte sig.
