BMW forbereder forhandlinger med samarbejdsudvalget om omkostningsreduktioner

Efter en resultatadvarsel grundet svage forretninger i Kina planlægger BMW at drøfte yderligere omkostningsreduktioner med sit samarbejdsudvalg. Nedskæringer i antallet af medarbejdere er fortsat en mulighed.

Den München-baserede bilproducent udsendte tirsdag aften en resultatadvarsel og nedjusterede sin prognose for det indeværende år. Den nye direktør Milan Nedeljkovic annoncerede planer om at tilpasse strukturer og processer til vanskeligere markedsforhold.

"Samtalerne mellem virksomheden og samarbejdsudvalget er under forberedelse," udtalte en talsmand for det centrale samarbejdsudvalg til Reuters fredag. Nedeljkovic understregede behovet for hurtighed og effektivitet.

BMW havde allerede for 2026 forudset en mindre reduktion i antallet af ansatte på op til fem procent. Virksomheden beskæftigede omkring 154.500 mennesker ved udgangen af sidste år.
