Eberspächer planlægger at tredoble sin forretningsandel i Asien inden for tre år

Den tyske bilunderleverandør Eberspächer udvider sin virksomhed i Kina markant. Administrerende direktør Jörg Steins har annonceret planer om at øge Asien-forretningens andel fra otte til 24 procent. Nye ordrer på batterikabinetter og udstødningssystemer understøtter denne indsats.

Eberspächer forfølger målet gennem nye kunder og partnerskaber i Kina. Virksomheden fra Esslingen har allerede modtaget ordrer på batterikabinetter samt udstødningssystemer til rækkeviddeforlængere. Hundrede ingeniører på stedet udvikler de relevante teknologier.

Steins understregede, at væksten primært skal komme fra forretningen i Kina. Samtidig talte Martin Peters om en tydelig fiasko for den første bølge af tyske elbiler på det kinesiske marked.

Ligesom mange andre underleverandører fulgte virksomheden efter tyske producenter til Folkerepublikken. Der søger den nu nye veje for at genoplive sin skrumpende forretning.
