Kommission for gældsbremsereform når ikke til enighed

Berlin. Kommissionen, som finansminister Lars Klingbeil nedsatte sidste sommer, forblev splittet. Den skulle have skitseret veje til at håndtere den stigende gæld uden at blokere for investeringer.

Klingbeil retfærdiggjorde den høje låntagning med forsvarsbehov. “Med det sorte nul kan vi ikke forsvare Tyskland mod Putin,” sagde han efter ministerrådets godkendelse mandag. Der planlægges over 200 milliarder euro i ny gæld i 2027.

En undtagelse fra gældsbremsen, som Unionen, SPD og De Grønne blev enige om efter valget til Forbundsdagen, muliggør udgifterne. En stor del går til forsvarsudgifter.
