DO undersøger kommune i det sydlige Dalarna efter klage over manglende elevstøtte

Diskrimineringsombudsmanden (DO) har indledt en undersøgelse af en kommune i det sydlige Dalarna. Årsagen er en klage over, at en elev i udskolingen med et handicap ikke modtog den støtte, eleven var berettiget til.

Ifølge klagen førte den manglende støtte til, at eleven dumpede i et fag. Dette resulterede i, at eleven ikke kom ind på sit førstevalg til gymnasiet.

De pårørende, der indgav klagen, mener, at kommunen har svigtet sit ansvar over for eleven med handicap.

Undersøgelsen er nu i gang hos DO for at granske omstændighederne omkring den nægtede hjælp.
