Minister indvier renoveret bunker i Eslöv

Carl-Oskar Bohlin, minister for civilt forsvar, indviede onsdag en 50 år gammel bunker i Eslöv, som Staffanstorp kommune har købt og renoveret. Faciliteten skal fungere som kommandocentral under kriser.

Bunkeren ligger i Gullarp uden for Eslöv og blev bygget mellem 1974 og 1976 for at lede det civile forsvar i det centrale Skåne. Staffanstorp betalte 11,5 millioner kroner for den i 2024 og har siden moderniseret ventilations- og kommunikationssystemerne.

Carl-Oskar Bohlin understregede, at det er et eksempel på, hvordan kommuner kan forvalte ressourcer effektivt. Han bemærkede, at faciliteten risikerede at ende hos en privat ejer, men nu bliver genanvendt til sit oprindelige formål.

Formand for kommunalbestyrelsen Christian Sonesson sagde, at bunkeren løser pladsmangel i forbindelse med det civile beredskab. Den kan bruges til langvarig fødevareopbevaring, træning samt som kommunikations- og kommandocentral under en krise.

Bunkeren har plads til 75 personer, egen brønd og en dieselgenerator, der muliggør isolation i op til tre måneder.
