Linköping kommune kræver 157,5 millioner svenske kroner i erstatning fra staten, efter at regeringen har besluttet at skrinlægge planerne om en ny banegård i byen. Beløbet dækker planlægningsomkostninger til Ostlänken siden 2013. Kommunalbestyrelsesmedlem Stefan Erikson (M) kritiserer staten for at skade tilliden.

Linköping kommune har besluttet at kræve 157,5 millioner svenske kroner fra staten. Beløbet dækker udgifter til planlægning og undersøgelser forud for opførelsen af Ostlänken og en ny banegård siden 2013. Beslutningen kommer efter regeringens udmelding i sidste uge om at droppe planerne, hvilket SVT Nyheter og P4 Östergötland har rapporteret.

Regeringen meddelte i tirsdags, at Ostlänken, der løber mellem Järna og Linköping, vil slutte ved Tallboda i stedet for at fortsætte ind til Linköping med en ny centralstation. Formålet er at skære otte milliarder kroner af omkostningerne ved at bevare den nuværende forbindelse til Stångådals- og Tjustbanorna.

Kommunalbestyrelsesmedlem Stefan Erikson (M) fortæller til SVT Nyheter: ”Vi har på statens anbefaling investeret Linköping-borgernes skattepenge i mange år. Nu er der ikke noget afkast af de penge, så det er rimeligt at kræve dem tilbage.” Han kaldte tidligere beslutningen for ”et stort svigt” og ”en joke” over for P4 Östergötland.

Erikson understreger, at tilliden til staten er blevet skadet. ”Jeg håber virkelig, at staten tager dette erstatningskrav alvorligt,” siger han.
