Nakamura wins bullet brawl for seventh time in 2026

Grandmaster Hikaru Nakamura captured his latest Bullet Brawl title on May 16, defeating a field of 173 titled players in the weekly Chess.com arena. He finished with 171 points to claim the $400 first prize and extend his perfect record in the event this year.

The American grandmaster started strongly, winning 10 of his first 11 games. He later produced a 13-game winning streak that included victories against several top competitors, securing a 16-point margin over the rest of the field by the end of the two-hour event with a 1+0 time control.
