Person i Västerås skal tilbagebetale 1,3 millioner kroner

En person i Västerås skal tilbagebetale 1.293.859 kroner til Försäkringskassan efter at have modtaget uberettigede sygedagpenge. Myndigheden indledte en undersøgelse, efter at personen i år rapporterede om forbedret arbejdsevne.

Personen har modtaget sygedagpenge siden 2016 på grund af depression og socialfobi. I år rapporterede personen om forbedret arbejdsevne og tilmeldte sig Arbetsförmedlingen, hvilket udløste kontrollen. Bankudskrifter viste rejser til andre byer, udlandsrejser og færgeoverfarter samt forbrug i restauranter, tøjbutikker, caféer og byggemarkeder. Försäkringskassan fastholder, at personen burde have oplyst om den forbedrede evne tidligere. Myndigheden kræver derfor fuld tilbagebetaling af beløbet i henhold til afgørelsen, der blev meddelt den 4. juni 2026.
