One person has been detained on suspicion of aiding murder following the fatal shooting in Uppsala. A teenage boy was already detained on probable cause for murder.
A 19-year-old man was shot dead in the Kvarngärdet district of Uppsala on Sunday evening. The Swedish Prosecution Authority states that the newly detained person was arrested and remanded earlier this week.
A third person is suspected of involvement and has been detained for gross protection of a criminal. The prosecution authority has requested that this person also be detained.
The detention hearing for the third person will be held at Västmanlands District Court on Saturday.
