Three teenagers face charges over placing a hand grenade outside an apartment building in central Uppsala in April. A fourth teenager is charged with instigation.
Police responded to Höganäs in mid-April after a live hand grenade was found. The area was cordoned off and the bomb squad was called.
The three teenagers, then aged 16-17, are suspected of transporting the grenade from Stockholm to Uppsala by taxi. They face charges of attempted public dangerous destruction and serious violation of explosives laws.
The indictment states they were offered payment for the task. Prosecutors link the incident to organized crime. A 17-year-old is charged with instigating the crime.
