CD Projekt Red hat eine dritte Erweiterung für The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt namens Songs of the Past bestätigt. Der Inhalt wird 2027 für PC, PlayStation 5 und Xbox Series-Konsolen erscheinen.

Die Ankündigung erfolgte am 27. Mai durch den Entwickler und dessen offiziellen Witcher-Account auf X. Songs of the Past wird gemeinsam mit Fool's Theory entwickelt und erneut Geralt von Riva in den Mittelpunkt stellen. Es knüpft an die beiden früheren Erweiterungen Hearts of Stone sowie Blood and Wine an und wird in seinem Umfang als vergleichbar mit diesen Veröffentlichungen beschrieben.
