Christian Democrats leave majority cooperation in Laxå

The Christian Democrats are leaving the political majority cooperation in Laxå municipality following a whistleblower report.

The Christian Democrats have decided to leave the cooperation. The reason is serious deficiencies at one of the other parties in the majority.

Ivonny Falk, Christian Democrat representative in Laxå, says the party will work independently going forward.

The municipal board held an extra meeting on June 22 under strong secrecy, according to previous reporting from Nerikes Allehanda.
