Lif Lindesberg scheitert in der Allsvenskan-Qualifikation an IFK Ystad

Lif Lindesberg verlor das entscheidende zweite Spiel der Allsvenskan Direkt off 1 herr-Qualifikationsserie auswärts mit 33:37 gegen IFK Ystad, nachdem das Hinspiel zu Hause bereits mit 25:29 verloren gegangen war. IFK Ystad gewann die Best-of-Three-Serie mit 2:0. Trainer Joakim Bååk bezeichnete den Ausgang trotz des verpassten Aufstiegs als einen Schritt nach vorne.

Nach der 25:29-Heimniederlage zum Auftakt verlor Lif Lindesberg auch das Auswärtsspiel am Samstag bei IFK Ystad mit 33:37 (14:17) und unterlag somit in der Serie mit 0:2.

IFK Ystad steigt in die Allsvenskan auf, während Lif Lindesberg in der Division 1 verbleibt.

"Es ist ein Schritt nach vorne, auch wenn es im Moment schwer zu sehen ist", sagte Bååk und lobte den Weg des Teams bis in die letzte Qualifikationsrunde.
