Artist Paula Bonet reported a new attack on her Barcelona workshop on Monday, where an intruder broke the door glass, moved paintings and stole a piece.
Bonet posted the message on Instagram and noted that the incident occurred exactly ten days after her harasser was released from preventive prison. The artist stated that she has already filed a complaint and that the scientific police have visited the workshop.
The person who has harassed her since 2019 had been in preventive prison since late July 2025 for a prior break-in in June of that year. Bonet recalled that she has spent a year trying to resume her normal life and that she now relies on her network of friends and neighbors for security.
Bonet said that neither she nor her team will respond to media inquiries. The Mossos d'Esquadra did not confirm details of the complaint due to the victim's privacy.
