Rex Svensson, 21, returns to Hedemora as a feature film debutant when the movie Lilla Marie premieres. The film was shot in Dala-Husby with help from villagers.
Rex Svensson is a familiar face in Dala-Husby. Already as a 13-year-old he began making short films in the area, often with parents and neighbors as actors.
Summers spent in Dala-Husby stood in contrast to everyday life in Bangkok. He has now completed his first feature film, Lilla Marie, shot on location with local residents, raggarbilar and a 90-year-old grandmother in the cast.
The film premieres and opens in cinemas.
