Police were alerted at 12:44pm on Saturday to a traffic accident at No 32 Stanley Village Road in Hong Kong's Stanley. A male driver lost control of his car and collided with an oncoming bus, injuring seven people.

The bus driver reported neck pain, while four passengers—three women and one man—sustained facial injuries, police said. All were conscious and taken to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital in Chai Wan. The car's driver and a male passenger were also conscious and sent to the same hospital.

Online photos showed heavy damage to both vehicles, with the bus's windscreen shattered and the car's front crumpled. Police have not yet disclosed the reason for the loss of control, but all injured parties are stable.

Stanley, a popular seaside area in southern Hong Kong, sees occasional traffic incidents, underscoring the need for drivers to remain vigilant. The crash caused no fatalities but highlights urban road safety concerns.
