Sofia Jarl criticizes government proposal on halved public transport prices

Sofia Jarl (C), regional councillor in Dalarna, directs criticism at the government's plan for temporarily halved public transport fares.

Sofia Jarl, who chairs the health and medical care committee in Dalarna, describes the proposal as an election-year stunt lacking real-world grounding.

She warns that a cheap bus does not help if it does not run, and believes the plan risks going wrong in the county.

Already on Tuesday the proposal faced criticism from the national-level opposition, who called it election bait.
