SMHI warns of a rapid weather shift over the weekend. Temperatures are expected to drop sharply from over 30 degrees to around 15 degrees.
This week SMHI has warned of high temperatures in large parts of southern Sweden. The high pressure is pushing temperatures above 30 degrees in places.
On Friday evening a low pressure system will move in over the Baltic Sea bringing rain. Cold air from the north will lower temperatures to around 15 degrees.
– It is like a halving of the temperature compared to the up towards 30 degrees we have now in many places, says Fanny Saarela, meteorologist at SMHI.
Sunday looks set to be colder than Saturday. If daytime temperatures only reach twelve or thirteen degrees it can feel a bit like autumn, according to Saarela.
