Panteón Rococó performed for more than 120,000 people at a free concert in Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl on May 30. The show headlined the Ecos de Oriente Festival as part of Mexico's National Circuit of Festivals for Peace.
The Mexico City-based ska rock band returned to the suburb where it began performing 30 years ago. The event at Deportivo Ciudad Jardín featured hits including “La Carencia” and “La Dosis Perfecta.” Lead vocalist Dr. Shenka greeted the crowd, calling Nezahualcóyotl “a land of great artists, culture and struggles.”
