Warner Bros. has acquired the short story "Exposure" by writers Erika Vázquez and Siena Butterfield for a feature film adaptation in a competitive situation.
The story is described as a psychosexual thriller involving themes of voyeurism and set against a corporate backdrop. Plot details remain under wraps.
Barbara and Andy Muschietti will produce through their Double Dream banner. Jesse Ehrman and Cate Adams are overseeing the project for the studio.
Vázquez and Butterfield, who met as roommates at Tufts University and have written for series such as Wednesday and CSI: Vegas, recently sold another erotic thriller spec titled Fixation to New Regency. They also have the popcorn horror project Warm & Fuzzy set up at SK Global.
