Estudio de Anif vincula informalidad con inseguridad alimentaria

Un informe del centro de estudios Anif muestra que la inseguridad alimentaria en Colombia bajó a 21,1% en 2025, pero persisten grandes brechas regionales asociadas a la informalidad laboral.

Según el estudio, la proporción de hogares con inseguridad alimentaria moderada o grave descendió de 25,5% en 2024 a 21,1% en 2025, una reducción de 4,4 puntos porcentuales a nivel nacional.

Los departamentos más afectados son Chocó con 56,8%, Sucre con 50,1% y La Guajira con 47,8%. En contraste, Bogotá registra 9,6%, Caldas 9,2% y San Andrés y Providencia 5,2%.

Estas zonas presentan también las tasas de informalidad más altas: Sucre alcanza 83,2%, La Guajira 82,3% y Chocó 79,4%, frente al promedio nacional de 55,1%. El análisis identifica una correlación de 0,7 entre ambas variables.

Anif señala que los ingresos bajos e inestables de los trabajadores informales limitan el acceso a alimentos y urge crear más empleos formales.
