Deuda externa de Colombia cerró marzo en US$252.493 millones

La deuda externa colombiana totalizó US$252.493 millones al cierre de marzo, equivalente al 52,7% del PIB, según datos revelados por el Banco de la República.

El indicador registró una reducción de más de US$1.433,8 millones frente a febrero, cuando alcanzó US$253.927 millones. Del total en marzo, US$218.244 millones correspondieron a títulos de deuda emitidos en el mercado local a largo plazo y US$34.249 millones a títulos a corto plazo.

El Banco de la República detalló que US$156.882 millones son acreencias del sector público y US$95.612 millones del privado. La reducción se explicó principalmente por una caída de US$1.198 millones en la deuda del sector público, asociada a la cancelación de un Total Return Swap.

En cuanto al servicio de intereses, estos totalizaron US$1.036 millones en marzo, de los cuales US$684 millones correspondieron al sector público. El balance por moneda mostró US$75.398 millones en dólares, US$49.221 millones en pesos colombianos y US$13.427 millones en euros.
