Conductor alcoholizado arrolla a dos menores en Mendoza

Un conductor de 44 años fue detenido en Godoy Cruz, Gran Mendoza, tras embestir a una nena de 5 años y un adolescente de 14 que caminaban por la calle. Las pericias revelaron un nivel de alcohol en sangre de 2,45 gramos por litro, cinco veces el límite permitido de 0,5 g/l. Ambos menores sufrieron heridas y fueron hospitalizados.

El incidente ocurrió en el barrio Los Barrancos 2, en la intersección de las calles El Salvador y Cuba. El hombre conducía un Volkswagen Gol, perdió el control y arrolló a las víctimas, según informó la policía.

Personal de la Comisaría 50° y del Servicio de Emergencias Coordinado (SEC) acudió al lugar tras el pedido de auxilio de vecinos. La nena de 5 años fue diagnosticada con politraumatismos y trasladada al Hospital Humberto Notti, donde quedó internada. El adolescente, con lesiones leves, fue llevado por sus familiares a otro centro médico.

El control de alcoholemia confirmó 2,45 g/l de alcohol en sangre del conductor, superando ampliamente el límite provincial de 0,5 g/l para vehículos particulares, establecido por la Ley 9099. El hombre quedó detenido y su vehículo retenido en una comisaría.

El caso está a cargo del Juzgado Contravencional N°1 por infracción a la Ley de Tránsito.
