Fiume o morte gana el gran premio FIPRESCI al mejor documental

Fiume o morte se ha alzado con el primer Gran Premio FIPRESCI al mejor documental como la obra de no ficción más destacada de 2025. El galardón se anunció durante la gala de inauguración del festival Millennium Docs Against Gravity en Varsovia.

El grupo internacional de críticos seleccionó la cinta croata por encima de destacados competidores, entre ellos el ganador del Oscar Mr. Nobody Against Putin y el nominado The Perfect Neighbor. El director Igor Bezinović, oriundo de Rijeka, lideró el proyecto, el cual emplea una recreación al estilo punk con 300 residentes para examinar la toma de Fiume en 1919 por parte de nacionalistas italianos bajo el mando de Gabriele D’Annunzio.
