Una escultura gigante de una mujer frente a la Catedral de Uppsala mide 230 centímetros

Una escultura de bronce de una mujer de 230 centímetros de altura ha llamado la atención frente a la Catedral de Uppsala. El artista británico Sean Henry se encuentra instalando 16 obras en la iglesia antes de la inauguración el 28 de mayo.

El artista Sean Henry explica que las catedrales, como la de Uppsala, tratan sobre las personas y las vidas vividas. Su objetivo es conectar el presente con el pasado colocando a personas corrientes en espacios que antes estaban reservados a los santos.

La exposición se titula “¿Quién soy?” y las esculturas ya pueden visitarse. Henry ha expuesto anteriormente en lugares como la Catedral de Salisbury.
