La separación pone fin a una estrategia que Twenty One presentó el 29 de abril, la cual incluía posibles adquisiciones de Strike y Elektron. Al 31 de marzo, la empresa poseía 43.514 BTC valorados en unos 2.950 millones de dólares, además de 114,1 millones de dólares en efectivo. Strike seguirá siendo independiente.

Las acciones de Twenty One cayeron casi un 18 por ciento tras el anuncio. Zagury hereda la tesorería de Bitcoin y el mandato de desarrollar operaciones que generen flujo de caja.
