Neon adquiere los derechos mundiales de Artificial, de Guadagnino

Neon ha adquirido los derechos mundiales de la película Artificial, de Luca Guadagnino, a Amazon MGM Studios. La cinta está protagonizada por Andrew Garfield en el papel de Sam Altman, CEO de OpenAI.

El acuerdo se cerró el 30 de junio. Artificial relata los días previos al repentino despido y posterior restitución de Altman como CEO de OpenAI en 2023.

Escrita por Simon Rich, la película fue producida por Guadagnino, Rich, David Heyman, Jeffrey Clifford y Jennifer Fox. Se rodó en San Francisco e Italia y cuenta con una banda sonora y canciones originales de Damon Albarn.

Amazon MGM Studios había anunciado anteriormente que no estrenaría la película. Neon planea presentar Artificial a la carrera por los Oscar de este año.

Neon has secured North American and English-language rights to Na Hong-Jin's thriller 'Hope', marking its fifth film in the Cannes Film Festival competition lineup. The acquisition, pursued since November, brings Neon's total titles at the festival to six. The film stars Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung, Hoyeon, Alicia Vikander, Michael Fassbender, Taylor Russell and Cameron Britton.
