Interceptan más de dos toneladas de cocaína en aguas de Oaxaca

Autoridades mexicanas incautaron más de dos toneladas de cocaína en un operativo marítimo a 190 kilómetros de Salina Cruz, Oaxaca. La operación, sin detenidos, representa una afectación de 4.3 millones de pesos al crimen organizado. En lo que va del sexenio de Claudia Sheinbaum, se han decomisado 65 toneladas.

El Gabinete de Seguridad del gobierno federal informó que efectivos de la Marina detectaron 68 bultos con 2,155 paquetes de polvo blanco similar a cocaína, con un peso de 2.145 toneladas, en el Golfo de Tehuantepec, Pacífico sur.

La carga, embalada en bolsas negras, fue puesta a disposición de la autoridad competente para investigación, sin que se reportaran detenidos. Esta acción evita que millones de dosis lleguen a las calles y colaboraron la Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana y la Armada de México.

Desde octubre de 2024, con la llegada de la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum, la Marina ha incautado 65 toneladas de cocaína en alta mar como parte de esfuerzos contra el crimen organizado, ante presiones de Estados Unidos en la lucha antinarcotráfico.

El pasado 27 de abril, autoridades interceptaron otra embarcación con cerca de una tonelada de cocaína y detuvieron a seis extranjeros a 120 kilómetros al noroeste del Puerto de Chiapas.
