La Armada de Colombia, junto al Ejército y la Fuerza Aeroespacial, halló depósitos clandestinos durante una operación en el Cauca el 16 de junio de 2026.

Unidades del Batallón Fluvial de Infantería de Marina No. 42 enfrentaron a ocho hombres armados en tres embarcaciones sobre el río Micay. Los sujetos abrieron fuego y huyeron.

Las tropas localizaron después dos depósitos ilegales vinculados al Grupo Armado Organizado Residual Estructura Sexta “Jaime Martínez”. Allí se hallaron 13 drones, dos pistolas, más de 400 cartuchos, diez teléfonos celulares y dos computadores.

También se incautaron cerca de 350 kilogramos de explosivos, granadas y cohetes artesanales. El material fue destruido de forma controlada por personal especializado.
