Tribunal Pocso ordena FIR contra Swami Avimukteshwaranand en caso de agresión

Un tribunal POCSO en Prayagraj ha dirigido a la policía a registrar una FIR contra Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati y otros por presuntamente agredir sexualmente a menores durante el Magh Mela. La FIR invoca la sección 351(3) del BNS y las secciones 5, 6, 3, 4(2), 16, 17 de la Ley POCSO, acusando de agresión sexual penetrativa agravada a un niño, castigada con 7 años a cadena perpetua. Bajo la sección del BNS, los acusados enfrentan cargos de intimidación criminal agravada. El 7 de febrero, tras una audiencia, el tribunal había dirigido al Comisario de Policía de Prayagraj a presentar un informe detallado de investigación sobre los presuntos incidentes. La Policía de Uttar Pradesh presentó la FIR dentro de horas de la orden del tribunal.
