Monreal lamentó la omisión al no advertir el símbolo y pidió a su equipo eliminar el video. Señaló que el formato busca generar respeto y que la situación se politizó sin su intención.

El senador aspira a la gubernatura de Zacatecas en 2027, donde su hermano David Monreal gobierna actualmente, aunque enfrenta restricciones por la cláusula contra el nepotismo en Morena.
