Una protesta antifascista eclipsa una concentración neonazi junto al monumento de Sa Feixina

Unas 200 personas se concentraron este domingo frente al Consolat de Mar en Palma para rechazar una reunión de Núcleo Nacional junto al monumento franquista de Sa Feixina, que reunió a unas 20 personas.

La manifestación, impulsada por la Coordinadora Antifeixista de Mallorca, transcurrió de forma pacífica bajo vigilancia policial. Los asistentes portaron banderas republicanas y palestinas y corearon consignas como “Fora feixistes dels nostres barris” y “Mallorca serà la tomba del feixisme”.

Políticos de MÉS y Unidas Podemos, entre ellos Vicenç Vidal y Lucía Muñoz, participaron en la protesta. Los organizadores criticaron al PP y Vox por derogar leyes de memoria democrática y por otorgar protección patrimonial al monolito horas después de su inclusión en el censo estatal de elementos contrarios a la Memoria Democrática.

Núcleo Nacional convocó su acto bajo el lema “Gloria a los Héroes” para reivindicar el monumento, inaugurado por Franco y dedicado al crucero Baleares, que participó en el bombardeo de civiles durante La Desbandá. Un portavoz de la organización leyó un manifiesto en defensa de los valores del honor y la disciplina.
