El senador de Morena Enrique Inzunza solicitó una licencia de 22 horas para ausentarse de las sesiones extraordinarias del Senado previstas para el 28 y 29 de mayo, en medio de señalamientos de Estados Unidos sobre presuntos vínculos con el crimen organizado.

A través de un mensaje en redes sociales, Inzunza informó que su suplente, el arquitecto Omar López Campos, participará en las sesiones. El legislador de Sinaloa aseguró que la decisión busca preservar el recinto y el debate de altura ante una “embestida mediática”.

Inzunza compareció el 26 de mayo ante la Fiscalía General de la República como testigo en la investigación derivada de la acusación estadounidense. La licencia concluye este viernes 29 de mayo a las 15:00 horas.
