Stella Ndabeni presenta un presupuesto de 3.036 millones de rands para las pequeñas empresas

La ministra de Desarrollo de Pequeñas Empresas, Stella Ndabeni, presentó este martes un presupuesto de 3.036 millones de rands para el año fiscal 2026/27. Esta asignación tiene como objetivo apoyar a las pequeñas empresas, cooperativas y tiendas spaza en toda Sudáfrica.

Ndabeni señaló que el departamento ya ha desembolsado 79,6 millones de rands a través del Fondo para Tiendas Spaza a 1.316 propietarios para la adquisición de existencias, cumplimiento normativo y operaciones. El fondo fue lanzado conjuntamente con el Departamento de Comercio, Industria y Competencia.

La ministra anunció una nueva política de desarrollo y revitalización económica rural y municipal para ayudar a los empresarios locales que enfrentan la competencia de grandes minoristas y negocios extranjeros ilegales. El departamento planea apoyar a 50 cooperativas durante el año en curso.

La ministra también destacó los 8,29 millones de rands ya otorgados a 111 pequeñas y medianas empresas bajo el programa TRAP en 2025/26. Asimismo, subrayó la necesidad de reducir la burocracia y ampliar la financiación para los negocios en los municipios.
