"El tumor sigue ahí. Todavía estoy bajo medicación y el camino está lejos de terminar", dijo Bhatia. El diagnóstico ocurrió casi al mismo tiempo que su padre sufría un infarto paralizante.

Bhatia tiene un récord general de 33 victorias y 34 derrotas, y este año alcanzó sus primeros cuartos de final de la ITF en Nagpur. Continúa con su tratamiento mientras compite a nivel ITF.
