Ruotsin korkeakouluvirasto Universitetskanslersämbetet (UKÄ) raportoi, että huijaamisesta annettujen varoitusten ja opinto-oikeuden keskeytysten määrä kasvoi kolme prosenttia vuosien 2024 ja 2025 välillä koskettaen 2 328:aa opiskelijaa. Tekoälytyökalujen luvaton käyttö nousi ensimmäistä kertaa yleisimmäksi huijaamisen muodoksi 851 tapauksella vuonna 2025.

Universitetskanslersämbetet (UKÄ) kokoaa vuosittain tiedot ruotsalaisten yliopistojen ja korkeakoulujen kurinpitotapauksista. Kolme vuotta kestäneen laskusuuntauksen jälkeen varoitusten ja opinto-oikeuden keskeytysten määrä kasvoi kolme prosenttia vuosien 2024 ja 2025 välillä, ja niitä annettiin yhteensä 2 328 opiskelijalle.

Tekoälytyökalujen luvaton käyttö oli vuonna 2025 syynä 851 tapaukseen, kun edellisenä vuonna vastaava luku oli 237. Tämä on ensimmäinen kerta, kun tekoälyllä huijaaminen on noussut suurimmaksi kategoriaksi; aiemmin kärjessä oli plagiointi.

Alle prosentti kaikista opiskelijoista jää kiinni huijaamisesta. Kurinpitotapauksiin lasketaan huijaamisen lisäksi myös häiriökäyttäytyminen ja häirintä.
