Kenya Airways has partnered with Accor to let customers redeem Asante Rewards points at hotels worldwide. The agreement was signed on May 13 and allows mutual point conversions between the two loyalty programmes.
Kenya Airways announced the partnership on Wednesday, May 13. Members of its Asante Rewards programme can now redeem points at more than 5,600 Accor hotels in over 110 countries. In return, members of Accor’s ALL loyalty programme can redeem points for Kenya Airways flights.
The deal was signed by KQ Chief Commercial and Customer Officer Julius Thairu and Accor Regional President Raki Phillips. Yilma Goshu, KQ Head of Customer Excellence, also attended the signing. Kenya Airways said the partnership is the first of its kind between an African carrier and the ALL Accor programme.
Asante Rewards, launched in June 2023, offers four membership tiers. Points can be earned on Kenya Airways and SkyTeam flights and redeemed for tickets starting at 7,000 points domestically. The agreement supports KQ’s efforts to diversify revenue and improve customer retention.
